What PrepGenie is

PrepGenie is a small team that has been helping applicants prepare for the LNAT since 2011. Over that time the single most useful thing we have learned is simple: reading practice questions is not the same as sitting the exam. The LNAT is as much a test of timing, stamina, and nerve as it is of comprehension and reasoning. Our tool is designed around that reality.

The core of PrepGenie is a Pearson-style exam simulator. It recreates the screen you will actually see on test day, from the timer counting down to the way you move between questions and flag the ones you want to revisit. You take full-length papers under real conditions, and after each attempt you get worked solutions and analytics that show you where your marks are actually going.

Why we built a simulator

Most LNAT preparation is a stack of PDFs. PDFs are fine for reading the questions, but they cannot give you the two things that decide scores on the day: the pressure of a live clock, and the friction of the interface itself. Students who have only ever practised on paper often lose marks not because they cannot answer, but because they mismanage their time or are thrown by an unfamiliar screen.

A simulator fixes that. You learn how 95 minutes across Section A actually feels. You get used to the navigation, the flag-for-review, and the auto-submit when the clock runs out. And because every attempt is scored and analysed, you can see whether you are losing time on argument passages, misreading inference questions, or simply running out of time, and then do something about it.

PrepGenie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the LNAT Consortium Ltd or Pearson VUE. The official LNAT is administered by Pearson VUE on behalf of the LNAT Consortium. We are a separate, independent company, and we design our practice materials to resemble the real exam closely while remaining entirely our own work.
